Rhea is honored and excited to join the tutoring team at GLO. She looks forward to supporting families and students in various areas of focus.

When Rhea is not working with clients at GLO, she is part of a school administration team as an instructional coach for Saint Paul Public Schools, providing professional development and support for educators around curriculum, content, and instruction. She also works directly with district department managers such as special education, mentor teachers supporting non-tenure educators, school improvement, math, and literacy. She was an educator in the classroom for 14 years. Having taught grades 2-6, she was also a reading intervention teacher. In 2020, she assisted in creating a social justice/ social studies course with the district social studies program coordinator within Saint Paul Public Schools. She taught the social justice/social studies course to students in grades PreK-4. Rhea is extremely passionate about educational policies, equality within education, and school safety. Those passions drove Rhea to return to school to attain her K-12 Principal’s license with an Educational Leadership degree.

When not working or tutoring, Rhea is busy attending her son’s sporting events. Her son is a Junior in high school and is a three-sport athlete. As a family, they love traveling together. In the spring of 2023, they had a remarkable experience traveling to Rome, Italy, and visiting their family there.
