Becky Busselman
Associate Director of Advancement
Becky grew up in Prior Lake, Minnesota and came to Groves in June, 2013. Her "passion for education and being able to make a difference" are a couple of motivators that she enjoys about Advancement work. Becky says helping others, meeting new people and being around the fun Groves students are her favorite parts of her job. Ashley Gotreau
Director of Annual Giving
Ashley grew up in Superior, Wisconsin and came to Groves in April, 2016. She sees herself as a perpetual student and is thrilled to be working at Groves Academy and surrounded by the energy that being in a school brings. In her time at Groves she has been able to witness the impact that Groves has on students, families, the broader community, and is grateful to be a part of it all. Kay Gray
Grant Writer
Kay joined Groves Academy in December 2017, excited to add her background in curriculum, marketing and grant writing to help advance the mission and vision of Groves Academy. Kay believes that collaboration is a key ingredient in moving an organization forward and feels Groves excels in working together as a team to serve its students, their families and the broader community. She looks forward to working with the Groves community to ensure all children are given the opportunity to recognize and reach their potential. Joanna Lackram
Events Coordinator & Donor Database Administrator
Joanna grew up in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and moved to Minneapolis to attend the University of Minnesota where she graduated with a degree in Art History. After getting her Masters degree in Arts and Cultural Management from St. Mary's University she worked at the Walker Art Center and Youth Frontiers where she honed her database management and event planning skills.
