Education & Experience:
Betty went to the University of St. Thomas where she received her BA in Elementary Education: PreK – 6th grade. She continued on at the University of St. Thomas to earn her MA in Learning Disabilities. She started teaching at Groves 35 years ago as a Preschool Teacher/Middle School Math & Science Teacher. She later became the Director of the Preschool/Kindergarten and returned to the University of St. Thomas to complete her licensure in Early Childhood Special Education. She became the Home Science Teacher in 2004 when the Preschool/Kindergarten closed.
Hobbies:
Betty’s favorite activities are cooking, sewing, traveling & spending time with family.
