Raising ADHD Kids in a Digital World; How Do We Set Safe and Supportive Boundaries for Kids with Attention and E.F. Challenges

Groves Community Education Series

Michael Borowiak, MSW, LICSW, Co-Owner and Mathew Meyers, MA, LMFT, Co-Owner, Traverse Counseling and Consulting

Raising children in this age of technology can be so confusing, and let’s face it – scary! How do we know how much screen time is too much, what kids are exposed to on the internet, and how to set healthy boundaries? And, when our children have ADHD, impulse control and difficulty understanding long-term consequences can make it even more challenging. What does healthy and responsible screen usage look like for children with ADHD? Experts from Traverse Counseling & Consulting, GBC regarding technology and video gaming, will provide information for parents of children and teens in this presentation.
