Maiko received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Special Education with Special Education licenses (ABS & ASD) from St. Cloud State University. She then earned a graduate certificate in Mathematics Speliciast at the University of Wisconsin – Stout. Maiko has had working experiences at charter schools with expertise in education for students on the spectrum and with ADHD as well as students who are English learners.

Maiko loves to play with dogs and cats, play marimba and steel pan drums, swim, ski, bike, and do yoga. Maiko also enjoys doing puzzles and number puzzles, and spending time with her friends.
