Kayla Torborg

Lower School Teacher

Kayla attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, where she earned her B.S. in Elementary Education and Spanish Education. She enjoyed her time studying abroad in Costa Rica and loved experiencing another culture. She even taught Spanish immersion for a year. Kayla has been teaching for four years in a variety of grades and positions. Her passion for teaching began long before she had her own classroom—when she volunteered in classrooms, coached, and worked in after-school programs.

Outside of school, Kayla enjoys spending time outdoors and going on a road trip every summer. Rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, and camping are some of her favorite things to do outdoors. She also loves being on the water, skiing, wakeboarding, and paddleboarding. In the winter, she continues to find ways to get outside, exploring cross-country skiing and ice climbing when she has time.
