Stacey Brandjord

Psychology Intern

Stacey is passionate about helping children, particularly those who may challenge typical caretakers and educators. This first led her to a career in speech-language pathology, with degrees from Augustana College and Wichita State University. Stacey began her career as an elementary school speech-language pathologist in Wyoming, where she was first introduced to the wide variety of learning and behavioral difficulties students experience. This led to Stacey’s research interest in both autism spectrum disorders as well as the co-occurrence of language and behavioral difficulties in children that may be overlooked. Since returning to school, Stacey has been able to combine her skills and backgrounds providing assessment and intervention services to children with social/emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and a wide range of other diagnoses. Stacey is a member of the National Association of School Psychology (NASP) and is certified through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and has presented at both local and national conferences.
