Education & Experience:
Maureen’s experience in education is extensive, having taught biology, environmental science, and physical science in Stillwater, Hastings, and Groves. Maureen had 4 wonderful children in 5 years, and turned her focus to Early Childhood Education, establishing her own NAEYC – accredited preschool. Maureen sold the school and contracted to set up other preschools. Before returning to the Twin Cities, Maureen worked as the education coordinator for a large preschool where she observed, evaluated, and modeled positive teaching practices for teachers.
Hobbies:
Time spent with Maureen’s children floats to the top of her list! Maureen also loves to travel, garden, swim, paddleboard, and bike. Maureen’s two puppies take up much of her time and guesses they are her new “kids!” Maureen dabbles in art, loves to read, and plays board games. Maureen also loves to think out of the box and solve problems!
