Adrienne VanZomeren
Psychologist
Education & Experience:
Adrienne earned her Ph.D. in child clinical psychology from the University of Minnesota, Institute of Child Development. She completed her residency at Harvard Medical School, with clinical placement at Boston Children’s Hospital, and two subsequent training fellowships at the Minnesota Epilepsy Group and Institute for Translational Research. She currently owns a private practice, AVZ Psychology, where she focuses on diagnostically complex assessment and psychotherapy for teens and young adults with anxiety, depression, OCD, and chronic pain. She previously taught undergraduate courses at the University of St. Thomas, Century College, and the University of Minnesota. She has also served as the content creator and facilitator for a local nonprofit.
Hobbies:
Adrienne grew up in Detroit, on the same street as the rapper Eminem! She was a college athlete who still deeply values athletics. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing yoga, snuggling her pets, playing board games, listening to podcasts, riding roller coasters, and trying new restaurants with her partner, Craig, in the Twin Cities.
